What we collect
- Your phone number or email address, if you sign in. Signing in lets you recover parking linked to that account on another device. You can also park as a guest.
- The plates you save and the state that issued them. The plate is the only thing enforcement checks, and the only way we can show a lot that you paid.
- Parking and payment records: lot, times, amounts and payment reference. These support your receipt and the operator’s reconciliation records.
- A device push token, used only to warn you before your parking ends.
- A generated device identifier, used only to limit abuse of parking-credit promotions.
Sign-in
- If you sign in by phone, we use Twilio Verify to send and check a one-time code by text message.
- If you sign in by email, we send a one-time code to your email address.
- Phone and email sign-ins do not automatically combine separate accounts.
Location and camera
- If you allow location access, we use your device’s location, which may be precise depending on your permission settings, to find and sort nearby lots. The coordinates are sent to our service for that request. We do not keep a trail of where you have been, and it never picks a lot for you.
- You can always find a lot by entering its code instead.
- Camera access is optional and is used only to scan lot QR codes. The app does not upload camera images.
Payment processing
- Payment details are handled by Stripe and supported payment providers such as Google Pay. Their SDKs may process device and interaction information to complete payments and prevent fraud.
- We keep payment references and limited card display information, not your full card number.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not give your plate or your parking history to advertisers.
- We do not collect location in the background.
- We do not store your full card number.
How long we keep it
- Parking and payment records are kept for 7 years, as financial and accounting rules require.
- Push tokens stop working and are cleared once you uninstall the app or turn notifications off.
- Sign-in tokens last at most 60 days and then expire on their own.
Your rights
- You can delete a saved plate in the app at any time. Past orders keep a snapshot of the plate as it was, because that snapshot is the proof of payment.
- You can delete your account in the app under Profile > Account > Delete account. You can also write to support@ezpark312.com with the subject “EZPark312 account deletion” to request an export or deletion — send it from your account email, or tell us the phone number linked to the account. We may need to verify ownership; never send a password, verification code or full card number.
- Deleting an account removes recoverable account identifiers, saved plates and notification registrations. It does not delete transaction and accounting records we are required by law to keep.
